Frost tolerant, drought tolerant, Cotyledon silver waves is a fantastic contrasting small shrub, very popular in modern landscaping, looks awesome when planted in mass situations around architectural plants such Queensland Bottle tree, or even in balcony situations at the base of green screening plants such as Prunus Portuguese laurel.
Silver Waves is a highly ornamental selection of Cotyledon orbiculata with upright stems and incredible leaves. Leaves are white-silvery, powdery, large, with wavy margins. It will eventually grow as a small shrub. this selection is hardy to moderate frosts. It is easy to grow and moderately fast. It can receive water at any time of the year but if you are located in a cold area, it is better to keep it on the dry side in winter, so it can rest while the light quality is bad. It will eventually grow to 1 m in height but it can stay much smaller for years if kept in a small pot.
